Green Deer Registration is officially open!

Click here to be redirected to the online registration form.

Do your part to keep our city clean and beautiful this spring. Green Deer is a simple yet effective way to strengthen community bonds, teach our children and youth about the importance of environmental stewardship, and of course, to “leave it better than you found it”!

People are encouraged to register so Green Deer organizers can distribute cleaning supplies, track the areas that have been cleaned, and recognize volunteer work.

Other ways you can register:

  • In person on Monday, May 13 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. during our Registration BBQ at Parkland Mall in the GoodLife parking lot.
  • In person at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre, Recreation Centre, Collicutt Centre, G.H. Dawe Centre any time from April 15 through June 9.
  • Phone the Kerry Wood Nature Centre at 403-346-2010 and one of our friendly staff will walk you through the online registration form.

Other ways you can participate in Green Deer and make a difference in your community are through the Red Deer River Cleanup on June 9, 2019 or the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup on Sept 8, 2019. Both events take place at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre and there is no need to pre-register. Check back here closer to the dates, click on the event title on our online calendar, or call 403-346-2010 for more information on either of these cleanups.

Any questions or comments can be emailed to reddeergreendeer(at)gmail.com.

Green Deer is made possible through partnerships with Tim Hortons, Canadian Tire, Save-On-Foods, Real Country 95.5 & Zed 98.9, and The City of Red Deer.
