The Stopping House is a recreation of the original Fort at Red Deer Crossing.
Located within the Interpretive Centre, the Theatre has a 90” wall-mounted television.
The Upper Grounds include the grassy field adjacent to the Red Deer River at the northernmost part of the Fort Normandeau property, as well as the picnic shelter, which is a permanent structure with a large central fire pit. During the summer months, a Marquee Tent and teepee are set up on the field.
